Case Study

I have worked alongside SoftSync for many years on a number of projects. In November 2012 I was asked to overhaul their old website.

The original SoftSync website was lacking in focus as to what were the key services provided by the business. What were the success stories, who recommended them and could they solve the problem you had visited the website to be solved.

After coming up with improved web content, a new layout and bringing the new website in line with print work that had already been produced, the new website was launched.

The initial 6 months after launch didn't yield much in terms of new web traffic while the search engine listings adjusted to the new website. As the positioning and quality of the old website was so poor, the new website had a lot of ground to make up. In this time however the website helped to back up the company branding and image in meetings with new prospective clients.

After those slow 6 months the website reached number one on Google for "software development Birmingham" and the enquiries and phone calls started to come in.

Next Stage

The next stage of the online promotion for SoftSync is to upgrade a few aspects of the website to increase the focus on bespoke software development. Upgrades will include enhanced imagery and improvements and updates to the portfolio.
